MISSION STATEMENT

We believe in God the Father, our Creator, God the Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior from sin, and God, the Holy Spirit, our Sanctifier, who gives us faith in Jesus. We believe the Trinity in unity and unity in Trinity, three distinct Persons in one Godhead. Following the example of Jesus, we endeavor in a loving way to minister to the needs of the whole person in his spirit, soul and body.

Lifeline to Seamen Ministry

Lifeline to Seamen is founded by Rev. Tom Malone in 1985. Supported by various local Churches in Houston, LTS partners with Christ followers to take the good news of Jesus Christ to the seafarers that visit Houston. From 2003 – 2011 this ministry visited 4,800 ships, 10,000 seafarers.

We’re living in the terminal generation of Christ’s return, Luke 21:32-33; Matt. 24:14

  1. Rebirth of Israel on May 15, 1948. Isa. 66:8
  2. After the 6 day war in Israel, June, 1967, Jerusalem became Israel’s undivided capital. Ps. 122:6-9
  3. God watches over Israel from extermination. Ps. 121
  4. God’s covenant with Israel is everlasting. Ps. 105:8-15
  5. God is drawing Israelis and Jews in the Diaspora home. Ezekiel 37:11-14
  6. After 2,000 years Hebrew has become the revived living language of Israel. Zeph. 3:9
  7. Great numbers of Ethiopians and Indians from the Ten Lost Tribes now returning to Israel. Zeph. 3:10
  8. Increase in knowledge and rapid travel. Daniel 12:3-4
  9. Chemical and thermonuclear warfare. Zech. 14:12; 2 Pet. 3:10
  10. Scoffers abound in the last days. 2 Pet. 3:3-4
  11. People are easily deceived. Matt. 24:4-5, 9-13, 24, 26-28; Rev. 12:9-13
  12. Demonic worldwide new age and secular humanism. 2 Tim. 3:1-5
  13. People are terrorized and in distress. Luke 21:8-11, 23-24
  14. Mass media (TV, computer genetics, internet, cell and I pod phones, global wars, brain wave medical technology, etc.) Ps. 19:4; Ps. 147:15
  15. One world government. Rev. 13:14-15
  16. One world economy. Rev. 13:16-17
  17. One world religion. Rev. 13:4, 18
  18. Earthquakes, famines, and pestilences. Luke 21:10-11
  19. Sudden destruction on the world. 1 Thes. 5:3

Be sure to read and study the Bible verses relating to each of these prophetic statements. Learn Biblical prophecy which is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. 2 Tim. 3:16-17.

25% of God’s Word is prophecy. Thank the Lord for His Word and by faith live victoriously with Jesus as the center of your life.

As it was in the days of Noah, so be ready and watchful. Matt. 24:37-44. Believe expectantly for Christ’s imminent return and passionately be a soul winner beginning with your family.

Thomas Tao's Calling

Thomas Tao, Port Chaplain Thomas Tao became a Christian after he realized and confessed that he was a sinner saving by God’s grace in 1965. In 1988 Thomas first got involved with seamen ministry when he saw a number of seamen being brought to church on Sunday.
Thomas became very excited for this ministry and began to visit the ships and helped bring seamen to church on Sundays. In March 2003, Thomas retired early from his Architectural career to focus full time on the port ministry. He received his M.A. in biblical study in 2007. He is committing his life to bring the Gospel to the seafarers.
