Lifeline to Seamen (LTS) is founded by Rev. Tom Malone in 1985. Supported by various local Churches in Houston, LTS partners with Christ followers to take the good news of Jesus Christ to the seafarers that visit Houston. From 2003-2025, our ministry visited more than 17,600

Partner with the churches to go and proclaim the good news of Jesus to all seamen from all over the world visiting the Port of Houston and to help them become followers of Christ.

Port of Houston Our Harvest

Houston is America’s largest petrochemical port. The Houston ship channel stretches out fifty miles to the inland, and has over thirty terminals and one hundred docks. Over 6,000 ships visit Port of Houston each year. The port of Houston is an epicenter for cultural, economic, international exchanges, and a strategic location for the ministry of the Gospel.
