Who We Are
A Welcome in Every Dock
Lifeline To Seamen (LTS) is a Christ-centered ministry serving international seafarers who visit the Port of Houston.
Founded in 1985 by Rev. Tom Malone and supported by various local churches in Houston, LTS partners with Christ followers to take the good news of Jesus Christ to the seafarers that visit Houston and to help them become followers of Christ.

Compassion in Action
We meet seafarers where they are – aboard ships, in port, and through ongoing relationships.
Seafarer Care
Listening, transportation coordination, hospitality, and help finding resources.
Gospel & Prayer
Sharing Scripture and praying with seafarers who welcome spiritual conversation.
Discipleship
Encouraging Bible reading, prayer, and ongoing faith conversations after departure.
Cross-Cultural Ministry
Respectfully serving crews of different languages, cultures, and faith backgrounds.
